im pretty sure bromance is the perfect example of how embarrassingly fragile masculinity is. you know what a female bromance is called? a friendship

That’s funny seeing as so many women call it a sisterhood.

or the fact that a bromance and a friendship are not the same thing.

like

bromance is two dudes who are very, very close. like.. turk and JD close…

not just two dudes who hang out

  • Girlfriends
  • Sisters
  • Gal Pals
  • Girl crush
  • "My girls"

Another example of Tumblrinas demonizing men while excusing the female side. And even if there isn’t, maybe if society doesn’t tease or beaten men for not being masculine, then the word “bromance” wouldn’t be necessary. Your judgmental attitude isn’t helping, OP.

I think this is the most relevant thing I’ve seen on Tumblr

They should require that these are put up inside schools. It’s the least they could do as a reminder, because this is sure as hell not taught in the classrooms.

Maybe it’s because none of these would help you get a job in the future?

I’m pretty sure leadership, resourcefulness, reliability, motivation, self discipline would be really good for getting a job

But then I am pretty sure that there are ways to test those…
